G-Cloud
Financial Justification

G-Cloud Financial Justification

The financial justification for the G-Cloud proposition is simple. It is to lower your Total Cost of Ownership for contact centre technology.

So how do we do this?

How we save you money

Firstly the G-Cloud service requires little or no capital expenditure. In these post credit crunch times, getting access to additional business capital* is both difficult and expensive. With G-Cloud you save not only the hassle but also these finance costs.

Secondly support and maintenance is included within your monthly per seat G-Cloud charge. With a traditional technology installation, you would typically budget 20% of the upfront purchase cost each year to cover support and maintenance - even more if you wanted to factor in the cost of upgrades. With the G-Cloud service this is all taken care of within a simple per agent monthly fee.

Thirdly reduce internal resource costs - less internal IT technicians. With G-Cloud, ProtoCall One is responsible for managing all of the technology infrastructure and service provision, meaning that you don't need as many of these resources yourself.

So what does this all mean? Well, for one client we calculated that the Total Cost Of Ownership over a three year period was £250,000 lower when using the G-Cloud service - compared to procuring, building, managing and supporting the same contact centre technology in-house. A sound business case all round.
